Abstract
The production of drill bit bodies shall conform to GB/T2967, and tungsten powder shall conform to GB/T3458. The rock drillability factor F must be >11.
For sintered carbide drill bits, the diameter retention uses polycrystalline superhard materials that meet the strength standards for oilfield use specified by the American company. For alloy drill bits, YG11 is suitable for rocks with an F factor >11. After sintering, the surface of the drill bit body shall not have defects such as network cracks or looseness that affect the embedding of the cutting teeth.
The welding between the drill body and the composite piece must not have defects such as slag inclusion or pores.
For the working end face of the drill bit, the perpendicularity to the axis of the connecting thread and the concentricity of the outer circle to the axis of the connecting thread must not be lower than grade 10 according to GB/T1184-1996. Material mechanical properties requirements for the drill bit body: Bending strength must not be less than 400 MPa, impact resistance must not be less than 2. The total liquid flow area (TFA) calculation formula for the drill bit body is as follows:
TFA = a + b
a - Waterway area of 1/3 drill diameter (mm²)
b - Exposed annular area of cutting teeth at 1/3 drill diameter (mm²)
The cutting surface of the drill bit body is not allowed to have any damage to the diamond composite片
